A J Metal Products have in-house design capabilities to produce mechanical designs to all the major internationally recognised Pressure Vessel design codes and standards.
We produce a full design package of design calculations and CAD drawings, using state of the art leading software packages Autocad ® and Solidworks ® for customer approval and third party design verification by the specified Notified Body, where required.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS
Our design capability also extends to F.E.A. (Finite Element Analysis) which can be used to assess stress concentrations in more complex fabrications,
where traditional calculation methods may not be sufficient and another method is needed to prove the structural integrity of the proposed design.

3D PRINTING
Occasionally, a 2D drawing is not enough to be able to visualise a complicated design.
We are able to offer a 3D printing service to produce replica plastic scale models of your vessel design, or a particular component or feature.
